The Boys Varsity Basketball Team is off to a good start at 2-0, with victories over Unioto and rival London.

Last Friday, the Golden Eagles defeated the Unioto Shermans, 61-47, in a foul fest.  Matthew McCollister led the Eagles with 24 pts. And 7 assists, while Derek Warner had 16 pts. and 11 boards.

Tuesday, the boys were back in action against the Red Raiders of London, defeating them 66-50.  Garrett Dugger had 17 points, and Matthew McCollister had 16, with 12 assists.  Clay Henry also added 14 pts.   It was nice to have a three game sweep with the Freshman winning in OT 42-40, and the JVs winning 36-31.  The Freshmen were led by Ryan Wood and John Silar both with 9. Ryne Davis led the JVs with 16. 

Good luck to the Lady Eagles against Cedarville and the Wrestling team in the National Guard tournament.
