8th Grade Math Games

8th Grade Math Games

The students in Mrs. Hiram's 8th grade math classes created math inspired board games as a final project to review all of the standards they learned this year.  After they presented their projects to their classmates, they were able to play each other's games and provide effective feedback to each other. 8th Grade Students Return from D.C.

8th graders have returned from their trip to Washington, D.C.  Their trip was full of learning about the history of our nation, paying respects to our fallen heros and growing into responsible young men and women.  Thank you to all that supported us in making this exceptional trip possible. More +
Lunch Charges

Lunch Charges

Dear Parents/Guardians,

As we come to the end of the school year, students who do not have money on their lunch account, or have money with them, will be given the alternate meal, as we can no longer accept charges on student accounts at this late date in the school year.  The alternate meal that is provided (at no charge) consists of a peanut butter or cheese sandwich, a fruit or vegetable, and a milk.  We would never allow a child to go hungry.  We are simply trying, as the school year comes to a close, to bring our lunch accounts current, as we have to balance our books, too.  This is a standard practice in May.

Emergency Preparedness Drill

Dear Madison-Plains Parents and Guardians,

Greetings!  As you are aware, safety and security is our top priority at Madison-Plains Local Schools.  With that in mind, we wanted to let you know that today, Tuesday, April 16, 2019, we conducted lock-down drills on campus to help us review, practice, and enhance our emergency preparedness procedures.  Again, today’s exercise was only a drill.

These drills are required by law, and we will continue to practice our emergency preparedness for other scenarios throughout the remainder of the year.

As always, we are pleased to partner with you, and we will continue to work to communicate clearly and effectively with you at all times.

Again, because student and staff safety is our top priority, we conducted today’s drill in order to practice our emergency procedures.

Thank you for your support!

Have a wonderful day!

Go Eagles!

Sincerely,

Chad Eisler, Superintendent
