2019 High Progress School of Honor
Dear Parents, Guardians, and Community Members,

I am pleased to share some wonderful news with you that I learned this week!  The good news is that Madison-Plains Elementary School has earned the distinction of being a “2019 High Progress School of Honor,” based upon the building’s 2018 – ’19 Ohio School Report Card measures on student English language arts and math performance!

The Ohio Department of Education (ODE) sent us a letter that stated, “With 40 percent or more economically disadvantaged students, your school has ranked in the 90th percentile or higher for statewide gains in English language arts and math performance.  Your school has accomplished this over the last five years.  That’s an extraordinary achievement.”

The staff and I are very pleased to learn of this recognition from ODE and wanted to share it with our parents, guardians, and community!  Thank you for your support!  Congratulations to our students for working to be the best that they can be!  Thank you and congratulations to our staff for all of their hard work and continued efforts in excellence to help our students learn!

Good things are happening within the Madison-Plains Local School District, and we are excited about good things yet to come!

Go Eagles!

Sincerely,

Chad Eisler, Superintendent
Madison-Plains Local School District
