Dear Madison-Plains Parents, Guardians, and Staff Members,Happy new year to all of you! I hope 2019 is off to a good start for you!
I would like to share a couple pieces of important information with you.
First, I learned this morning that there may be some confusion about when Madison-Plains Local Schools will be closed in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. MLK Day is Monday, January 21st, this year. I am aware there had been a previously printed version of the district calendar that inaccurately said schools will be closed on Monday, January 14th, but that is not correct, and we apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused. The correct date for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is Monday, January 21st, 2019, and that is the date that Madison-Plains Local Schools will be closed for MLK Day observances.
Secondly, I also wanted to let you know that I will be hosting a Listening Session this week in Paint Township at the fire hall in Newport. The session is on Thursday, January 10th, at 7:00 p.m., and I hope to see many of you there!
Once again, there will be a listening session this Thursday, January 10th, at 7 o’clock in the evening at the fire hall in Newport in Paint Township, and also, Madison-Plains Local Schools will be closed in observance of MLK Day on Monday, January 21st, 2019.
