Dear Madison-Plains Parents and Guardians,
Today a threatening message was found on a boys’ restroom wall at Madison-Plains High School. We took this message seriously. Law enforcement was called, and the building was evacuated while it was searched with sheriff’s deputies. Once the search was completed and no device was found, students and staff re-entered the building, and teaching and learning resumed. An active investigation involving law enforcement is underway.
Student and staff safety remains our top priority.
The Madison-Plains Local School District will continue to
keep our parents and guardians informed about emergency events in our district.
