Good afternoon, parents and guardians!
Today, Thursday, November 08, 2018, we conducted a
campus-wide lock-down drill. It was only
a drill, and it was done to help us practice and enhance our emergency
preparedness procedures. As you know,
the health and safety of our students and staff is our first priority.
These drills are required by law, and law enforcement officers
were on hand today to observe the drill and help to provide feedback to
us.
A letter notifying parents and guardians about the drill was
sent home with students by the respective buildings today, as well.
We will continue to practice our emergency preparedness by
doing drills throughout the year, and we will also continue to work to enhance
what we do.
We are pleased to partner with you, and we will work to
communicate clearly and effectively with you at all times. We will notify you once safety drills are
done, other than routine fire and tornado drills, and we will always work to
communicate with you in emergency situations.
Thank you!
Have a wonderful evening!
Go Eagles!
Sincerely,Chad Eisler, Superintendent
Madison-Plains Local Schools
