About

The Madison Plains High School Art Club is hosting our 1st Annual Jackson Pollock 5k Fun Run as a fundraiser for our club this year. The event will begin and end at the London trailhead of the Prairie Grass Trail, located behind the Madison County Senior Center.

The course will be a flat and fast out-n-back run along the Prairie Grass Trail. 

Event also includes a 1 Mile Fun Walk and a kids 1/2 mile fun run.

A note to all participants: The race course is a paved running trail. 

Distances

5k Fun Run- The 5k is a 1.55 miles out-n-back course. The race starts at 9:00 AM.
1 Mile Fun Walk- The 1 Mile walk is a 1/2 Mile out-n-back course. It will begin ten minutes after the 5k start.
1/2 Mile Kids Fun Run- The kids fun run will begin at 10:00 AM.

Please note- The kids 1/2 mile run is for kids 7 and under ONLY, and is free!

Swag

All participants in the Jackson Pollock 5k will receive a race shirt and finisher's medal. You must be registered by April 1st to be guaranteed a race shirt in the size you request. The top 3 male and female overall finishers will receive awards.

Please note- This is a fun run. There will be no event timing.

Participants in the 1 Mile Fun Walk may purchase a race shirt during online registration.
