Junior High/High School fees are $70.00 for the 2021-2022 school year. You can pay school fees online using EZ-Pay at www.mplsd.org or you can send in a check or cash to the office. If you would like to start making payments now you are welcome to. You can also put money on your student lunch account using EZ-Pay as well.
Get ready for Picture Day on Sept. 29th! Check out the hallway posters. There will be no order forms coming home this year. Please go on www.downtownphotos.com and use the event code to order.
If you drive to school remember to pick up an application in the office for a parking pass. This application must be completed, Final Forms completed, and a Drug Test completed in order to receive your pass. The parking lot will be checked for passes. You will not be allowed to drive to school without a pass.
The Key Club will be holding a formal attire drive. If you are interested in donating items, please bring your donation to the library. Men’s items needed are ties, dress pants, dress shirts. Ladies’ items needed are dresses, shoes, jewelry, purses, and etc.
There are free supplies in the library for students that may need pens, paper, binders, spiral notebooks and other misc. items.
The Homecoming Dance will be on Saturday Sept. 25 in the gymnasium. The dance is from 7pm-11pm. The theme is “Mardi Gras Masquerade”. All MPHS students attending must have a current drug test on file. If any student is bringing a non-MPHS guest, they must have a guest form filled out and turned in to Mrs. Butts by Thursday, Sept. 23rd. Tickets will be on sale Monday- Friday the week of Homecoming during HS lunch periods. Tickets are $20 each.
Homecoming Spirit Week (Sept. 20-24) School dress code would still need to be followed for these events.

There will be a Homecoming Pep Assembly on Friday, Sept. 24th, beginning at 2:15pm until 2:43pm. This will be held in the gymnasium.
Student Council is in need of old clothes to wrap the MP for the halftime of Homecoming game. If you have any old clothes that you are willing to donate, please bring them to Mrs. Briggs.
Tolles will be here to give a presentation on Oct. 27 for all sophomores at 8:30am in the high school auditorium.
Today is the last day to buy Homecoming tickets. If you do not have tickets purchased or arranged with Mrs. Butts by 2:45pm today you will not be able to attend homecoming. Picture forms will be available at the dance on Saturday. Packages range in price from $6 to $50. Cash and checks will be accepted.
