STUDENT ASSIGNMENTS DURING SCHOOL CLOSURE

Ohio schools will continue to be closed through May 1, 2020. Our staff will continue to provide remote learning opportunities for our students during this closure. Parents and students can access these assignments and directions through the links provided to the right. Additionally, in many cases, teachers provided students with a Google Classroom or other online platform for retreiving and submitting assignments. Directions regarding access to Google Classroom and other online platforms are also available through in the links below. Use the links to navigate to each teacher or grade level folder.  
 
All students are accountable for engaging in their learning. Teachers will be taking grades during this quarter. Our staff is encouraged to take one grade per week in each course. The week of April 6th will be a "catch-up" week for all students. Minimal additional assignments will be given during this week.
 
Please check back frequently for updates as our teachers begin planning for the next few weeks of remote learning. Students should also check school email accounts frequently for additional information from their teachers.  
 
A note about requests for paper assignments ...
Electronic platforms are our current mode for delivering instruction and assignments. All students are asked to access their assignments electronically. We appreciate the strain that sharing devices and internet has within familiies. However, we must refrain from giving students the "option" of paper assignments whenever possible because paper assignments provide more opportunities to transfer germs and viruses. As of March 31, paper assignments will only be provided to students with no electronic access. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time. Students with paper assignments may return completed work to any of the seven food distribution sites on Wednesdays from 4:00-5:00pm.
 
 

How to reach our teachers during the extended school closure

Below is a list of our teachers' email addresses and voicemail numbers for students and parents who need to reach a teacher during the extended school closure. Each day, our teachers work to plan and provide distance-learning opportunities for our students. 
 
Communication with our students and families is important to us. Each teacher has designated time for the purpose of communicating with families. This time is known as "Office Hours". Our teachers will get in touch with you as soon as they are able and internet/phone services allow. Please give them 1-2 days to reply. 
 
It is best to reach our teachers through email. However, if you are unable to access the internet, please try to leave a voice message. We are presently working to have voice messages transferred to our staff remotely. Please be patient with us as we work through this situation. Thank you for your continued support of our teachers and students.
