Band Boosters

The role of the Music Booster organization (here specifically Band Boosters) is to supplement the aid of the band in the ways of efforts, responsibilities, fundraising, finances and general support.  Its primary existence is to help provide a positive and rewarding experience for all band members.  The Music Booster organization is a non-profit group and is headed by the band director and functions as a form of government thereafter.  Officer positions include President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and Fundraising Representative.

This is a detailed explanation of the methods and manners this booster group can operate while maintaining a non-profit status and without invading school policy.

Fundraising is the selling of services or goods to improve the financial well being of a single student or the entire band.  Aid for one single student may assist in purchasing a summer uniform, marching shoes, gloves, band fees and band camp fees.  Fundraising can assist all band members by financially supporting more costly goals such as repairing instruments, purchasing new instruments, new music and more winter uniforms for our ever growing band.
