The Bring Your Own Technology program at Madison-Plains High School gets bigger and better for the 2014-15 school year. Students will be encouraged to bring approved devices to school to contribute to their work while additional devices will be available for check out from the school's library.

Madison-Plains is now offering Cisco Networking Academy for High School students. This is for students that are interested in InformationTechnology (IT) as a potential career path. This course is certified by Cisco, an industry leader in IT. Students will learn the fundamentals of computer hardware, software and advanced concepts such as security, networking, and the responsibilities of an IT professional. We are extremely pleased to be able to offer such a program to our students.

With the advancements in technology, it is essential that we give our students as many opportunities as possible. Last March, Madison-Plains implemented a Wireless 802.11 N network at the High/Middle Schools that covered all areas within each building. The goal was to allow students to more resources in the places where they needed them most....
New folder collections that mirror the setup of our Internal Folder/File Share Structure have now been created in Google Edu for Staff/Students. The purpose of this is to support sharing and collaboration in an orderly, familiar structure. Staff/Students: Add Collections Below Google Edu Shares for Staff/Students
After great success, Madison-Plains Local Schools is beginning its 2nd year of 1:1 iPads. We have expanded our program to include 7th,8th, and 9th Grades. We have also expanded the amount of shared iPads that we have available for checkout through each school’s library K-12 for grade levels that do not have the 1:1 Program.
