Dear MPLSD Parents, Guardians, and Staff,

The purpose of this message is to let you know that we are currently experiencing a power outage on campus at the 7-12 building.  The outage is not affecting the K-6 building. 

Currently the Junior High and High School are operating on electricity provided by our generator.  We are doing our best to continue with instruction, and we are making plans to serve lunch, though it will be an alternate lunch today. 

Ohio Edison has a truck on the way, and will know more once they are on site. 

Please know all of our students and staff are safe.

Again, as I mentioned earlier, our K-6 building is operating normally, as they are not affected by this outage.

I will send updates as needed.
