The National Honor Society Induction Ceremony will be held on October 24 beginning at 6:00pm in the high school auditorium.

The Drama Dept. will be doing a performance entitled The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) by Adam Long, Daniel Singer, and Jess Winfield. The show dates are Nov. 9th at 7:00pm, Nov. 10th at 7:00pm, and Nov. 11th at 2:00 pm. Ticket prices are $3 for students, $7 for adults, and $6 for seniors age 60+.

There will be an in school performance held on Nov. 9th. They will perform for the high school students during 3rd and 4th periods and the junior high during 8th and 9th periods. Ticket prices for student performances will be $2. Teachers who are able to join for these performances will be free.

 It is not too late to get registered for the October 27th ACT. Late registration stays open until October 14th. Please see Mrs. Hiram if you have questions.

Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Nov. 13th from 3:30 to 7:30 and on Nov. 15th from 3:30 to 6:30. The online scheduler is now available on the website. You can access it on the Parent tab and choose Conference Scheduler under Quick Links. If you would like you can also call 740-490-0676 or e-mail to schedule your conferences. There will also be a College/Career Fair in the commons on Nov. 13 from 4:30 to 6:30 and the Jazz Band will perform on Nov. 15 at 5:00. 

The Chess Club invites everyone who would like to play or would like to learn how to play chess every week during intervention period if no missing assignments or failing grades. See Owen Phillips for details. Chess Club Tournament begins on Oct. 26 and will run through Nov. 16.

French Club meets every Tuesday from 3:15 – 4:00. For more information see Nic Nye, Janelle Marks, Kaylee Hart or Evan Fisher.

High School fees are $70.00 for the 2018-2019 school year. You can pay school fees online using EZ-Pay at or you can send in a check or cash to the high school office. If you would like to start making payments now you are welcome to.

Students driving to school must obtain a parking permit to park in the school parking lot. Pick up an application in the high school office to obtain a tag. You must be drug tested. If you have not received your parking permit your vehicle may be towed.

All Seniors need to stop in the high school office as soon as possible to verify the spelling of your name for your diploma. 

Attention Seniors: As soon as you have your Senior picture chosen for the yearbook, please bring a digital copy on CD to Mrs. McCafferty.
