Fall 2022

Dear Madison-Plains Local School District Community,

Greetings!  I hope the 2022 – ‘23 academic year is off to a good start for you!  As the temperatures are beginning to cool just a bit and a hint of fall color is just beginning to appear on the trees, I am pleased to have the school year underway.  It has been good to have students and teachers back in the buildings and learning continuing.  It warms my heart to be able to walk the hallways and to see the smiles on students’ and teachers’ faces and to hear the sounds of learning coming from classrooms.

Along these lines, our vision as a District is to be a model of excellence in rural education.  Additionally, our District’s mission statement is as follows: “As a partnership of rural, agricultural communities, the Madison-Plains Local School District will achieve excellence through quality educational resources to maximize student success.”

In both our vision and mission statements, excellence is the goal.  There are many good things happening in the District that are helping us to move toward that mission and to make progress in stepping into that vision.  As there often are, there have been challenges to this, but we are working to overcome those together!

As we make our way through the school year, I am looking forward to dialoguing and working with colleagues, parents, students, and community members to make MPLSD the best it can be!  We will accomplish this together!  Good things are in store!

I hope you have a wonderful school year!

Go Eagles!

Sincerely,

Chad Eisler, Superintendent
Madison-Plains Local School District
