The Madison-Plains Board of Education is seeking applications to fill a vacated board seat due to the resignation of long-time Board Member Mrs. Kelly Cooley effective April 19, 2022. The Board intends to appoint a new Board Member to serve until December 31, 2023 at which time the newly appointed Board Member would need to run and be elected in a special election occuring November 2023 to serve the remaining two years of the unexpired term through December 31, 2025.
Applications available for download through the link on this page must be completed and received by the end of the day, Sunday, May 1, 2022. Completed applications can be emailed to Todd Mustain, Treasurer/CFO at [email protected],
mailed to Madison-Plains Local School District - Attn: Todd Mustain, Treasurer/CFO, 55 Linson Rd., London, Ohio 43140 (must be received by May 1, 2022), or dropped off during normal business hours at the same address. This address will also have paper applications available for pickup if you are unable to download the file via the link below.
The Board will meet in a special meeting the following day, Monday, May 2, 2022 at 5pm to review all applications received, and to decide on an interview schedule. The Board will officially vote on a resolution to appoint their chosen new Board Member at the next regular board meeting scheduled for Tuesday, May 17, 2022.
