Drug testing and Lindsey Law training
Drug testing will be done on August 30 from 11am-1pm during the school day. Consent forms can be found under forms icon on the athletic website. Student's must have a consent form signed by a parent before being tested. Student's also need to bring $17 for the cost of testing.

Lindsey Law is a new item this year for athletics. This is a video that has to be viewed by all parents who have a child playing sports and must sign a form stating they have viewed the video. The first session will be Wednesday, August 16 at 6pm in the high school gym. If you are unable to make this date, another session will be held on Wednesday, August 30 at 6pm in the high school gym.
Your vote counts: Emergency operating levy on ballot Aug. 8

School starts on Aug. 21 for students in grades 1-12, but we’re laser-focused on Aug. 8 right now. That’s the day voters go to the polls to cast their ballots for the emergency operating levy the Board of Education is requesting. The 5.953 measure will generate roughly $2 million per year for the district’s General Fund.

2017 HS Winter Sports Pep Rally
Winter Sports received special recognition at a Junior High and High School Pep Rally on Thursday, February 23.  Both boys and girls basketball are heading into tournaments and Wrestling will be hosting the Sectional tournament this Saturday at MPHS.  Seniors were also highlighted for their athletic achievements over their high school careers.  There was a Q and A session about our senior athletes with a variety of students who earned Amazon gift cards for their participation.  To view the link for the photo gallery, click "Read More." 
Senior Night for Wrestling
It was senior night as MPHS Varsity Wrestling took on Westfall on Tuesday, February 6. Both seniors, James Violet and Cody Redding, successfully pinned their opponents. The final team score was 21-10 with a team victory over Westfall and individual victories from James Violet with with 89th career victory, Chase Kelly, Ryan Bevington, and Cody Redding. The Jr High lost a tough battle to Westfall with a final team score of 15-24. Individual wins included Anthony Roby, Tylor Miller, and Stash Peterson. 
MPHS Scholar Athletes
MPHS student athletes who earned a 3.25 GPA or higher during the first 9 weeks were named Scholar Athletes.  Every sport was represented well and included every Fall Sport including Cheerleading, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Soccer and Volleyball.  Congratulations student athletes on your accomplishments! OHSAA Physicals, Emergency Medical Forms and Insurance Forms
All student-athletes must have completed the OHSAA Physical Exam Form. Click here to download the OHSAA Physical Exam form. In addition to the physical form, every student-athlete must have an Emergency Medical Form and Insurance Form on file. All forms need to be filed in the Athletic Office prior to the sports mandatory practices. A copy will be kept with the athletic trainer and coaches.
Hall of Fame nominations
The primary goal of MPHS Hall of Fame is to recognize those indivduals/teams that have made a significant contribution to the athletic program during their time at MPHS. If you would like to nominate someone for the Hall of Fame, print off the criteria/nomination form, fill it out and turn it in to the Athletic Department. The criteria/nomination forms can be found under athletic forms link.
