Madison-Plains Virtual School

Madison-Plains Virtual School<hr>

Welcome to MPVS!

Madison-Plains Virtual School (MPVS) is the remote learning option for Madison-Plains Local School District students for the 2020-2021 School Year. This system is being used by those students who are enrolled under Option 2 as well as Option 1 students. Option 1 students will be using this system during both the hybrid and full remote learning contingency plans.

At the direction of Madison County Public Health, Madison-Plains has moved to our full remote learning contingency plan beginning November 30, 2020. Link: MCPH Public Information Release, November 23, 2020.

Students will engage in online learning on remote learning days. The district is distributing devices and hotspots to those families who have expressed a need. In order to eliminate confusion and simplify expectations for students and families, Madison-Plains will be using MPVS as the primary electronic platform for most courses and supplementing with i-Ready in reading and math.  Google Classroom is only being used in select 7-12 courses including JH/HS music, HS art, CCP, AP, agricultural science, family and consumer science, world geography, mythology, short stories, and French III. Students will be able to access all of the approved platforms listed using their mplsd email account and password.
