Dear Madison-Plains Local School District Parents and Guardians,
The safety and security of our students and staff is the first priority within the Madison-Plains Local School District. To that end, today, Tuesday, May 16, 2023, we conducted safety drills on our campus with our students and staff. The purpose for conducting these drills was to practice, review, and enhance our emergency preparedness procedures. Law enforcement officials had been invited and were on campus to observe and provide feedback to us, as well.
Again, today’s exercise was only a drill.
These drills are required by law, and we will continue to practice our emergency preparedness for various scenarios throughout the year.
