Dear Madison-Plains Local School District Parents and Guardians,
The health and safety of our students and our staff is the top priority of our District. I learned this afternoon of a situation that severely compromised that with one of our students, and it is unacceptable.
A student who rides one of our busses did not get off the bus at the school. While we are still investigating, we have learned the child remained on the bus after the route was over.
After the child did not arrive at school, the child was located on the bus and was transported home. I have been in touch with the family, and the child is at home and doing fine.
We take very seriously the health and safety of our students and staff. What happened today is unacceptable. We will work to do better.
