What a great day for Partner Reading in Ms. Cress's Kindergarten class!

The third graders in Mrs. Thompson and Mrs. Vallery's classes wrote letters to Veterans, made Timelines for the History of Veteran's Day and created agamographs!  Click More+ to see the pictures.

Mrs. Weimer's class talked about veterans from all branches of the military.  Many students knew people who served or are currently serving our country.  

They enjoyed listening to a video in which a retired Naval Commander told about her service and adventures in several different countries!  In the afternoon, they read about veterans in their Scholastic News magazines.
