Welcome to Madison-Plains Elementary School!
Here you will find a staff dedicated to nurturing the growth and development of each individual child. Daily students engage in meaningful math, reading, writing, science and social studies activities designed to build high level thinking skills. Students are also given the opportunity to participate weekly in art, music, physical education and technology classes as well as visits to the library.
We believe that every child has the right to receive their education in a safe and nurturing environment. The staff at MPES has implemented the PAX program which is designed to help teach students self-regulation and self-management skills. This is supported through a partnership with Madison County and our building’s PAX Partners. Through the goals of PAX, we are developing a learning community that is M-P STRONG!

Learning is a journey that takes a team effort to ensure the best possible outcome for every child and his or her future. A partnership must be developed between students, staff, parents, and community members to help make this happen. We invite all mothers, fathers, grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors and other community members to become a part of our team.
